The One Minute Masterpiece software was developed jointly by Artography Direct Inc. (ADI) and New York University Center for Advance Technology (CAT).

The OMM software takes digital files as small as 75kb and then recreates them to look as if they were hand painted by an artist on canvas. The patents for this software are for generating an image having a painted appearance and was created by award winning developers Dr. Kenneth Perlin and Dr. Hertzmann of CAT. ADI conceived the idea and is responsible for the day to day operations.

The brilliance of the OMM software is that it looks at your photo and paints it by brush stroke in your computer right before your eyes, in less than a minute. Young and old can use this software to create beautiful works of art from any of their personal digital or scanned photos, including very low resolution photos.

Even old photos will be restored by the OMM painting effect. Your painting will also be saved as a file in your computer and can be up loaded to the (OMM) webstore for production of artwork in many different sizes including framing, murals and a host of other products.
